Green and Tropical Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

1 Banana

1 Handful of spinach or kale

2 inch slice of pineapple with skin removed.

½ Avocado

A knob of Ginger (told you I was a fan of ginger)

Coconut water – enough to make about 750ml of smoothie

METHOD

Wash ingredients as appropriate and arrange them into your blender or NutriBullet . This will keep in the fridge, sealed in a jar, for a day.

You have no need to core the pineapple if you have a good blender.

Green and Orange Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

6 Romaine Leaves

1 small cucumber

1 Banana, peeled.

½ Avocado

A knob of ginger root

Juice of one orange

Coconut water – enough to make about 750ml of smoothie

METHOD

Wash ingredients as appropriate and arrange them into your blender or NutriBullet . This will keep in the fridge, sealed in a jar, for a day.

Servings = 1

Green Lemon and Orangeade

Regular readers of this part of the blog will come to realise that I’m a fan of ginger. In juices ginger adds to the flavour of the sweeter juices. I use small amounts of chilly in the stronger flavoured vegetable based juices for the same effect. Continue reading

Berry Bake

This is a lovely little recipe. You can have a play with this and add stuff as you think fit and to suit your needs. It is intended as a breakfast dish but can easily be adapted or used as-is for a main meal or desert.
